Warranty Terms

CustomCanopy.ca provides a five (5) business day window after signed delivery confirmation to report any shipping damage. Claims made after this period will be addressed under our standard warranty terms and may be classified as warranty issues.

We stand behind the quality and functionality of our products when used according to the provided user instructions.

Our warranty covers normal wear and tear as well as defects in manufacturing or assembly, including repairs or replacements. The warranty does not cover issues arising from:

  • Misuse or improper handling.
  • Failure to follow user instructions.
  • Destruction, loss, theft, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Vandalism or acts of nature.

CustomCanopy.ca reserves the sole discretion to determine the cause of damage and the appropriate resolution for any warranty claim.

Duration of Warranty

Under regular domestic use, our items are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a year from the original invoice date. Customcanopy.ca will fix or replace the item at its discretion with a reconditioned product of the same value at no additional cost if a defect arises during this time. Please be aware that the customer is responsible for paying any fees associated with insurance or expedited delivery.

Warranty Exclusions

While we aim to ensure your satisfaction, the following are not covered under our warranty:

  • Damage caused by improper use, wear and tear, or shipping accidents.
  • Natural disasters such as fire, floods, or lightning strikes.
  • Delays in reporting defects or mitigating damage.
  • Unauthorized modifications, power issues, or repairs.
  • Damage to connectors, cables, or cosmetic issues caused by the customer.
  • Products with tampered serial numbers or intentional cosmetic damage.

Standard Warranty

If you encounter an issue within the warranty period, our customer service team is here to help. We’ll guide you through troubleshooting and determine the best course of action. Should a return be authorized, please ensure that the product is returned to CustomCanopy.ca within ten (10) days of receiving your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Out of Warranty

Even after the warranty period ends, we’re committed to supporting your needs. If a product malfunctions outside the warranty, our technical support team will assist in diagnosing the problem and offer repair options with clear, upfront pricing.
